About Us

Ballistic Bikes is a family owned bicycle company. We market to those athletes who don’t want another off the shelf bike but want a unique look to their upper end bicycles.  Ballistic Bikes offers semi-custom carbon fiber bicycles to sell through select  retail locations and via our website.  Customers will be able to select from  two different carbon 29″ mountain bikes frames in three build versions, two different carbon road bikes, and one carbon time trial bike.  The customer will be able to sellect their custom frame look  by choosing the pattern of their choice,  pick out their component groups from either SRAM or Shimano, and any additional build needs (ie, forks, colored accented blings, stems, saddles, wheels, pedals, derailleur hangers, headsets, carbon fiber water bottle cages, and tires).  The carbon bike frames come in three weave patterns, 3K, 12K, and UD. We offer two finishes one in glossy and the other in matte.  Each build will get a custom name based on the film pattern offered.  We offer the following five stock bike frames with head seats and forks: The Bullet, The Full Metal Jacket (FMJ),  The Gunslinger, The Single Shot, and the Flamethrower.
I am a  competitive cyclist with over 20 years of racing and riding.   I  wanted a high / top quality carbon racing frames that would not bankrupt the customer. We use Toray T700 unidirectional (UD) carbon fiber, which results in a higher tensile strength (how much force to break the fibers). However, we do also  offer other weave patterns. The outer layer of our frames is high modulus carbon to increase the frames tensile modulus (a.k.a. the measure of stiffness or how much the frame flexes). All of our frames are constructed by our partners using a proprietary monocoque process (a single unit) and are not a lugged. This results in an optimal frame construction in both overall strength, weight and the optimal stiffness.
Please feel free to call me with any questions, and if you don’t see what you want, call me and I can get it.
